SAINT-GOBAIN
In 2024, Akila strengthened its partnership with Saint-Gobain APAC by signing a Memorandum of Understanding to expand energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives across the region. Building on a collaboration that began in 2022, when we deployed digital energy monitoring and HVAC optimization at their Shanghai R&D facility – where we achieved a 15% reduction in HVAC energy consumption and an 18% cut in energy costs – Akila is now deploying new solutions at a broader scale. With this partnership we aim to help Saint-Gobain achieve its ambitious goal of reducing carbon emissions by 33% by 2030.
The agreement outlines a two-phase approach:
First, rolling out Akila’s Digitalized Energy Management system to measure and monitor emissions, supporting Saint-Gobain’s ESG disclosures and regulatory compliance.
Second, implementing advanced optimization technologies to significantly reduce their carbon footprint. This partnership reflects our shared commitment to leveraging digital innovation to drive sustainability and operational excellence.
Together, we’re creating a blueprint for a greener future across the APAC region.
